Captcha

Creating Harvesters and Providers

Many sites require a captcha to be solved upon checkout, which needs to be handled. Click Captcha in the top navigation bar to go to the captcha page and get started.

Harvesters

To begin creating a harvester, click the blue Add icon in the top left corner while the Harvesters tab is active. This will open a window where you can create a harvester with additional settings.

  • Name: Enter a name for your harvester.

  • Proxy (optional): Enter a proxy here if you want Valor to use a specific proxy to solve the captcha. If left blank, no proxy will be used.

  • Enabled Modules: Select which modules you would like to use the harvester for.

  • Enabled Categories: Select which categories of captcha in the module you would like to use the harvester for.

  • Open on Demand: Enable this setting to have Valor automatically open your captcha harvester if it is closed and a running task needs a captcha to be solved. This is useful if you forget to open the harvester beforehand.

  • Open On Launch: Enabling this setting will automatically open your captcha harvesters each time you open Valor for easier access.

  • Quantity: Enter the number of harvesters you would like to create using the selected settings.

Once finished, click Create, and the settings will appear in the captcha table.

Once your harvester has been created, you can click the Gmail button on that row to sign in to your Gmail account. This can help you receive easier captcha challenges. A window will open where you can log in to your Gmail account. After you are logged in, you can close the window, and the login session will be saved. If you ever want to log the harvester out, simply delete it and create it again.

After finalizing your harvester settings, click the Open All button or the Play button on an individual row to open your harvester window.

Once your harvester is on "Waiting For Captcha...", it is ready.

  • AI: When enabling this setting, Valor will attempt to auto-solve some types of captcha.

  • Testing Type: If you want to test a captcha, click the blue Play button.

  • Reload Captcha: If your harvester ever gets stuck while solving a captcha, click this button to refresh the page and try again.

Providers

Valor also supports third-party captcha providers for supported captcha types. To begin creating a provider, click the blue Add icon in the top left corner while the Providers tab is active. This will open a window where you can add your provider settings. Be sure your provider is enabled and properly configured before running tasks.

  • Name: Enter a name for your provider.

  • Provider: Select the captcha provider you want to use.

  • API Key: Enter the API key from your captcha provider account.

Refer to the third-party captcha provider’s documentation for instructions on how to obtain your API key.

  • Enabled Modules: Select which modules you want this provider to be used for.

  • Enabled Categories: Select which captcha categories this provider should be used for.

  • Max Concurrency: Enter the maximum number of captcha requests this provider can handle at the same time. This setting is used so you can split the solvers over multiple providers.

If you are only using one provider, set Max Concurrency to a number higher than your normal task count so all captcha requests can be sent to that provider at the same time. For example, if needed, you can set it to 999.

  • Enabled: Turn this on if you want Valor to use this provider. If this is disabled, the provider will be saved but will not be used.

Once finished, click Create, and the provider will appear in the providers table.
